Douglas has over 35 years of experience in the real estate investment industry. He formed DSC Real Capital Advisors, LLC in 2012 to provide independent fiduciary services in the property sector to Corporate/Advisory Boards and Investment Committees. These services are provided to both domestic and international clients on investment strategies, asset acquisitions/dispositions, asset/portfolio management, and prospective client introductions/relations.
Douglas retired from Grosvenor Fund Management in 2011 as its President and CEO of the United States operations after 29 years with Grosvenor and its predecessor companies. In that role, he was responsible for strategic direction, business development, client relations, investment activity and overall business management. Douglas also served on the Board of Grosvenor Fund Management, chaired its US Executive Management Committee and its US Investment Committee.
He has served on several Corporate or Advisory Boards for both public and private companies or organizations including the Board of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers (NAREIM).
